Splash Dance was formed by Charlotte, a fully-qualified and accredited dance teacher to offer classes in Ballet, Modern and Tap. Charlotte has been teaching for over 20 years starting out at a school in Bath which gave her a lot of experience in managing a large established school.  She later left to attend a school more local before setting up her own school.
Charlotte trained at the RAD teacher training centre in Bristol and then at the RAD Headquarters in London to obtain her teaching qualifications. Charlotte is also a member of the NATD and more recently became a Royal Academy of Dance, Silver Swans licensed teacher.

The two boards that SDA follow are the RAD – Royal Academy of Dance and the NATD – National Association of Teachers of Dancing. Taking exams are not compulsory but every child will be given the option at some point. Children love to take exams as it shows them the progress that they make throughout the years.

Students will also have the opportunity to take part in an annual event which gives the students the chance to show what they have achieved throughout the year, this also allows parents to watch the students perform and have fun away from syllabus work.
